I drew my own fluffy tree template then used removeable double sided tape to keep it in place at the bottom 2/3rds of my card. I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink Peeled Paint for my tree color. After I got the coverage I wanted using the Tim Holtz Blending Tool, I sponged the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

Next, I removed my bottom tree mask and adhered the other half of the template to the top of my card and stamped my image LIL MICHELLE SWINGING BY. I stamped Michelle on a separate piece of white CS and colored her, cut her (only) out and sponged her edges with Walnut Stain. Then I colored in the parts on the card that I did not cut out and colored outlines of areas that would be covered by my image. Then popped up Michelle.

RECIPE:
STAMPS:Lil Michelle Swinging By (AnnaBelle Stamps)
PAPER:Cottonball White (Clear Dollar Stamps)
INK:Momento Tuxedo Black, Tim Holtz Distress Inks Walnut Stain, Peeled Paint, Copics YG41, YR02, BV02, Y21, R20, E57, E00

Clean And Simple Challenge #122

My CAS DT term is up now and I'm back to being a player in the Clean And Simple Challenges. This week's challenge is....PLAY ON WORDS.

I used the SENTIMENTAL FRUIT DIGI from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS for my orange outline image. I printed out two. Colored both and cut out one whole one...sponged with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Then cut out only the segments on the other, sponged them and popped them up.

I printed the sentiment from the SENTIMENTAL FRUIT COLOR DIGI from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS on my card by the fold line. Then I cut my shape. The card is 5" tall to leave 1/2" for the orange slice.

I cut a smaller piece for my orange beverage and ran it through my Cuttlebug using the Sizzix Polka Dots embossing Folder.

RECIPE:
Stamps/Images: Sentimental Fruit Digi, Sentimental Fruit COLOR Digi (Clear Dollar Stamps)
Cardstock/Papers:Cottonball White (Clear Dollar Stamps), Mandarin (DCWV)
Inks/Markers:Printer, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Walnut Stain, Copics Y38, YR04, YR07

Techniques:Shape Card, Dry Embossing, Distressing

Here I used the stamp set MOTHER'S DAY BOUQUET from AnnaBelle Stamps for the flowers. I stamped on set of roses on the bottom of my circle centered. Then I made a mask by stamping the roses once at the top of a post it not. I cut it out around the edges and put my mask on top of the flowers I stamped.
Then stamped one set of flowers on each side of the first. And removed my masked and stamped my sentiment from the set ACACIA at the top of the flowers. I then stamped two more sets of flowers on a scrap piece of white cs, colored ,cut out the flowers and leaves, sponged them and popped them up.
The butterfly I cut out from a Martha Stewart Deep Border Butterfly Punch. I pulled up the wings and popped it up on the card front.

RECIPE:
