My sweet friend Katie Renz is especially struggling lately with pain and nausea. She has been so strong through her battle. I admire her. I feel sad that her life will be cut short from seeing her children grow up and grow old with her husband. I cannot do anything about it and I feel sad. I love you Katie Kate and am so happy I know you. Biggest Hug EVER.
Doesn't seem quite right that Katie is in pain and I am making cards. But that is how it is. I am thankful for my blessings. Katie is one of them.
So......today's
CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE is
Taylor's sketch.
I flipped the sketch horizontal. I have such nice friends. Lately I have been bugging a couple of them with my questions of things they know. They have been so kind with their time and patience. I have been thinking what life savers they have been and when I saw this sketch....this idea is what came to mind.
For those of you that are not from the US and don't know what a lifesaver is....this card may make no sense. It is a play on words. Lifesavers are hard candies shaped liked the image in the center of my card.
I put words in the corners instead of images and put an image in the center instead of words. I arranged my words in Microsoft Publisher. It took some time to get it just right. I made my lifesaver using Spellbinder Circle dies.
