September ProjectPea Blog Hop

Welcome to SugarPea Designs' September ProjectPea Blog Hop
Each month we challenge our fabulous team of ProjectPea Designers to create FUN & CREATIVE projects that are sure to make you look at your stamp sets with brand new eyes!

I made a Tissue Box Pop Up Card using this sweet stamp set Sniffles & Snuggles
I masked off the bottom of the image below the animals to get a fuller bed spread.  You can make it as long as you want depending on where you stamp it on your card.
Here's a close up.
I paper pieced the large areas and used the same paper of the spread on the box inside.

And here is the inside, the pop-up tissue box.
I used Marlo's tutorial, you can find HERE.

Here's a close-up.
I stamped my sentiment on the box before I adhered it onto the card.

TI - SPARKLING Ruby Red Slippers

The latest challenge is up at Tiddly Inks ....Make It Sparkle.
So, this is how my mind works, hee hee.  I thought sparkle...........and the ruby red slippers from the Wizard of Oz came to mind.  This sweet Tiddly Inks image You Are On My Mind fit the bill perfectly.
I colored in only her shoes,
covered them with Fruit Punch Stickles, let it dry then added Glossy Accents.  I computer generated the sentiment and printed it onto vellum.  I found this American Arts Washi Tape at Tuesday Morning this week and it works great to add a little accent.  This Washi Tape has four different patterns in one roll, so cool.
Here is the inside of my card.
I layered wasi tape and accented with sequins.

Supplies:
Stamps: You Are On My Mind (Tiddly Inks), Paper: Ghouls And Goodies (Doodlebug Design Inc), Neenah Solar White, Recollections White 110# (Michaels) Ink: Printer, Copics: R22, R24, R29, Staedtler .01 black pen  Accessories: Sequins (Pretty Pink Posh), Washi Tape (American Crafts), Fruit Punch Stickles, Glossy Accents (Inkessentials)

Thank You for visiting. Enjoy your day.

SPDSS12 - I Miss You

It is time for a new Sugar Sketch Challenge at SugarPea Designs.
I am using one of my very favorite SPD images Tin Can Chat.

Close up of how cute she is.
I cut a little border around her and colored with Copics and adhered twine to her can.

Here's the inside.
I love how these two sentiments work together.  Can you see my oops?  I stamped using a piece of paper to protect the bottom of the inside, the image did not come out because I did not press well enough over the designer paper and I lined up my stamp and stamped again, you can see it is off just a tiny bit.  It bugs me but I wasn't gonna re-do the entire card.  I'm sure you can relate.

Supplies:
Stamps:  Tin Can Chate (SugarPea Designs), Paper: Vellum, Recollections White 110# (Michaels), Neenah Solar White 80#, Friendly Forest (Doodlebug Design Inc) Ink: Lilac Posies, Tuxedo Black (Memento), Copics: E000, E00, E11, R20, YR23, Y17, Y21, E25, E29, C1, C3, C5, YG21, YG23, YG25, RV21, RV23, RV25, B00, BG01, B04, 0 Accessories:  Sequins (Pretty Pink Posh), Cuttlebug, Spellbinders Circle Dies, Scotch dimensional tape

Speedy Happy Birthday

I am playing in a new challenge to me

This challenge is to create a project based inspired by this photo in no more than 10 minutes

My card took me 19:48 (just under 20 minutes).
This is one of my first time restraint challenges and the fastest I have EVER finished a card.  I used two SugarPea Designs stamps Spare Me (to make the triangle background) and Totes Ma Goats (for the goats and sentiments).

I heat embossed the sentiment onto my black strip
I stamped my triangles on my white piece 4 1/4 x 1 1 3/4 so I would just get the triangle shape only.  I stamped with a little space between them.

Here is the inside.

Supplies
Stamps: Spare Me, Totes Ma Goats (SugarPea Designs) Paper: Recollections 110# White (Michaels) Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black, VersaMark, Summer Sky, Dandelion, Angel Pink, Pear Tart (Memento) Accessories: Heat Tool, White Embossing Powder, Anti-Static Pouch, Scotch foam tape , Sequins (Pretty Pink Posh), Sprinkles (Doodlebug Design Inc) Techniques: Heat Embossing

I put a new crop, organic Honey Crisp apple in my clear bag, found the cutest fall ribbon, used the new tag punch from WeRMemory keepers and attached it with a safety pin.
