Chalkboard Giflfriends

Here is my card for today's CAS Challenge #214 on Splitcoaststampers

I hope you all had a good Easter.
I had to cancel our family Easter dinner due to my ashtma/cold/allegies mess. But I felt well enough to make this card today.

Today's Challeng is to use the Chalkboard Technique.
I pulled out a stamp I bought last summer and have not used it yet. GASP. I'm you you never do that. I love this stamp.  I stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed my image with white eb powder.

This is also for this week's
I took my pattern paper and punched a scallop border punch out then stamped my image and cut out.  I popped it up on top of the other I cut out minus the scallop and adhered first.  Then I added a tiny piece of Licorice Divine Twine that seemed to add the perfect finishing touch. Yay.

I used the chalkboard technique for the inside of my card as well.
I love how this card turned out. Of course that does not always happen.

I used this adorable stamp

INK:VersaMark

This is brilliant Lisa, I love the AI stamps in this range!!
Great idea to keep it a linear image and the pop of yellow highlights the scallops perfectly :0)
