FS416 - Let's Fiesta

I'm playing in today's Featured Stamper Challenge at Splitcoaststampers
Congratulations Tracy Valure aka scrapgirl1210
I am so delighted Tracy is being featured this week.
I've admired Tracy's wicked coloring skills through being on the SugarPea Designs DT together.  Tracy's gallery is full of amazing creations. I had fun just drooling over them til I chose THIS card of Tracy's to case (which I fell in love with the first time I saw it during that release).
I took inspiration from Tracy's white image panel, making that my entire card.
My husband is Mexican and I know he'll love the rich colors.  Doesn't this image just make you smile!
Here's the inside.
I used another image and sentiment from the set.

Tiddly Inks Release - Love Hearts

There is a BIG new release on the Tiddly Inks Blog today.
I'm using the one of the new releases
I only used Wryn's head and her hearts.
I cut out a second set of hearts, colored them up and folded them back and forth like you would to make a chain and only adhered the heart with the hand at each end. Looks great IRL.
I used Worn Lipstick Distress Ink to make a gradient background for Wryn.
For the inside
I created an insert from copy paper by printing out this sentiment from the set and colored in only the heart.

Supplies
Stamps: Wryn - Have Heart (Tiddly Inks)  Paper:  Recollections White 110# (Michaels), Copy Paper, Neenah Solar White 80#, Memorabillia (Terry Collins)  Ink: Printer, Copics: R20, Y21, E000, B00, N0, C1, C3, Worn Lipstick Distress Ink (Tim Holtz)  Accessories: Clear Sequins (Pretty Pink Posh), Scotch Dimensional Tape, Heart Journal Card SugarCuts Die (SugarPea Designs), Spellbinders Ovals, Cuttlebug

SugarPea Designs 1st Birthday Bash Blog Hop

SugarPea Designs is so excited to be celebrating our 1st Birthday
 – and what an amazing year it has been!! We are celebrating this momentous occasion with a Blog Hop featuring our AMAZING SugarPea design team and some very talented Special Guests!

To Celebrate SugarPea Designs' 1st Birthday,
I made my favorite kind of card, Lots of luscious white space with a pop of color
using new SPD goodies from this month's release.
First I cut my hearts from a rainbow of colored cardstock using the
(I used washi tape to hold my scrap strips in place)
I placed my hearts where I wanted them,
then stamped my sentiments with Versafine Onyx Black
using the new release Happy Mail
To make my 3D envelope
I cut out two envelopes using the Special Delivery Accents Sugar Cuts Die
On the second one I cut separating the top from the bottom and popped up the bottom on the first.
Then I popped up my envelope on my card front.
I made an insert for the inside
by cutting a piece of copy paper 4x10 3/4 and folded in half
I stamped the sentiment from the new release Special Delivery with Versafine Onyx Black
then used the small silhouette heart in the set to make a rainbow of hearts just like on the front using Memento inks: Rose Bud, Angel Pink, Dandelion, Pear Tart, Bahama Blue, Summer Sky, Grape Jelly

FS415 Merry Christmas Holly

I'm playing in today's Featured Stamper Challenge on Splitcoaststampers.
Congratulations Claudia aka cjzim FS415
I cased THIS card of Claudia's
My Changes:
 My kraft panel is 5 x 3 3/4
I cut my die off the side and bottom edges so a piece comes off. Then I cut another from red cardstock and laid in the negative. And stamped my sentiment from the stamp set Holiday Greetings by A Jillian Vance Design.
Then I popped the kraft panel on the front with dimensionals
I cut another using the Holly & Swirls Die by A Jillian Vance Design
And folded in the center of the leaves and pulled them up a bit.
Then adhered all but the leaves lining up right on top of the other.
Then adhered the sprinkles for the berries.
The inside
I cut a piece of copy paper 8 1/4 x 5 1/4 and folded in half and stamped my sentiment.

SPD January Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop

It’s time again for our monthly, Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop !  Now that so many of you have our 2015 January Release stamp sets in your hot little hands, our Pod Squad of designers have geared up to inspire you with even MORE creative possibilities featuring the newest SugarPea Designs stamps & dies.

and you will receive a FREE stamp set that will not be available for sale in the store until the next bi-monthly release!  That's right!
You will receive a FREE stamp 2 months in advance of its release in the SugarPea Designs online shoppe

I've made a few Valentine ideas using Classroom Cupids

First, I made a Valentine Bag Topper using the new release Classroom Cupids
This is such a fun set to play with.
On the heart in the middle of the tic tac toe image, I stamped first the back of the silhouette heart in a light pink then used the used the original side in red. Love how you can do that with clear stamps.
I used a resealable 3x4 cellophane bag that I found in the jewelry making craft area of WalMart.
I sealed the bag at the bottom so the tic tacs can be removed and replaced repeatedly.
It can be interactive with this tic tac toe image.
I adhered the topper using score tape on each side.  No stapling.
Next, I decorated little gift bags.
With the silhouette images and different fonts on the sentiments, this set really leans itself to layering.  These whipped up easily. Kids could do these for their class.

I made a tag, stamping the tic tac toe image as before
and used Layered Treat Labels Sugar Cuts Die to cut my tag. I found some Jolly Rancher Gummy X0's candies that went perfectly in my $1 container from Target's $ spot.
