TI Fab Fri Happy Baaa-Day To EWE

It is Fab Friday on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog
An entire post of Tiddly Ink Design Team Inspiration.
It is also a sad time.
This is my last post for Tiddly Inks for now.  Life is getting in the way.  I know I will be back!
Obviously, I am taking a break from Christmas/Winter cards.
I am using Happy Baaa-day To Ewe from Tiddly Inks.  I've had this image printed out waiting for me on my craft table for awhile waiting for me to color up these sheep in multi colors. Ha ha. Aren't they fun! Easy Peasy. I gave them texture using the Copic blender pen.
The Inside
I used vellum and matching designer paper to tie in the front to the inside.

Stamps:  Happy Baaa-day To Ewe (Tiddly Inks)  Paper:  Recollections White 110# (Michaels), Vellum, Neenah Solar White 80#, Mementa DP Ink:  Printer, Copics: N0, 0, C1, C3, YR02, Y21, YG21, R20  Accessories: Sequins (Pretty Pink Posh), Glossy Accents (Inkessentials)

SPD12 - Warmest Birthday Wishes

It's time for this month's Theme Challenge at SugarPea Designs
I took the theme and ran with it by making a winter birthday card using three SugarPea Designs sets

I made birthday balloons by sponging with distress inks.
Then I stamped snowflakes on them making it a winter birthday card. I used a ruler to make my lines then drew in little balloon tied ends.
The inside.
I used washi tape for the border matching the sky on my card front. Then added the sentiment.
Play along with any stamp you like - but if you use SugarPea Designs, we'll top your voucher up to $15!

FS410 Merry Christmas DEER

I'm playing in this week's Featured Stamper Challenge #410 at Splitcoaststampers
Congratulations Barb aka bmbfield
 I cased Barb's Christmas Deer
My Changes:
Made deer panel my whole card
Use Die Cut For Deer
Added snow and red nose

I am so glad I chose this card of Barb's to case because I have been wanting to use this beautiful deer die and just could not think how.  Barb's card inspired me and I am sure glad I did because I love this deer. It cuts beautifully.  I love it from the metallic paper!
 Here is the inside
I wanted to tie in the silver metallic paper so I just placed a small strip at the bottom of my copy paper insert (I cut a 4 x 10 3/4 copy paper piece and folded in half).
For my sentiment I used Holiday Greetings from A Jillian Vance Design.

Here is another version I made.
I wanted to use all white with the silver and ground my deer at the bottom.  My deer is the Majestic Deer Die from A Jillian Vance Design. I cut the deer first from the white paper (as I did from the green paper above) and then cut the deer again from the metallic and placed it back in the spot.
Here is the inside.
Once again using the same set for the sentiment.  I love this set because you can use the big sentiment on the front and the matching sentiment for the inside.

Stamps:Holiday Greetings (A Jillian Vance Design)  Paper: Recollections White 110# (Michaels), Silver Metallic, Copy Paper Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black Accessories:  Cuttlebug, Majestic Deer Die (A Jillian Vance Design), red sprinkle (AnnaBelleStamps) Technique: Die Inlay

SPD December Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop

It’s time again for our monthly, Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop !  Now that so many of you have our 2014 Holiday Release stamp sets in your hot little hands, our Pod Squad of designers have geared up to inspire you with even MORE creative possiblites featuring the newest SugarPea Designs stamps & dies.

Hi, I made a Snowman Tic Tac Wrap.
You can hang it from tree.
First, I made my own background stamp
by arranging all the snowflakes combined from Sweet Treats Christmas, Have An Ice Day, Merry Christmoose and Frosty Friends.
I stamped all over the front of my 9 3/4 x 2" panel .
I want my panel to be 9 1/2 end to end after I have cut
using the tag die from Sugar Cuts Layered Treat Labels on both ends.
So I just made a line that measures about 1/16" from one end, pulled the panel through the die so the only thing that will be cut is the end.  So I put the top of the die up to that line and cut.
Now I measured to see how much I had extra after I cut and I only had about 1/16"
so I put my die right up to the top after I pulled the rest of the panel through the die so this end is the only thing that will be cut.
Now I have both of ends cut and it measures 9 1/2" long
Next, I drew a line at the middle at 4 3/4" on the back of my panel.
Then I measured 2/8 and 1/16 from the center on both sides of my center line.
Next, I measured 2 7/8 (plus just a tiny bit more)
from one line that is closest to its end then 1/4" from that line.
I repeated this on the other end
Now I scored all my lines except the center line
and began folding
Here is what it looks like with both ends folded

Here I stamped and cut out the snowman using Frosty Friends
Then I took the spellbinders circle die about 7/8" and cut out from the snowman
Next, I colored my snowman
And stamped another squirrel and colored and cut out him (because I could not bear having a squirrel with his head cut off).
I flipped them over and covered them with Scotch 1/16" foam tape
Only put tape where the squirrel will touch the snowman
And placed the snowman over the circle
and the squirrel on top of the snowman

Now I placed a 1/4" width piece of score tape on the center of the panel
where the tic tacs will adhere at the bottom
Remove tape cover and adhere the bottom of the tic tac container
Then I just pulled up the sides
Tied a bow around the top of the tic tacs, then tied a thin gold cording to hang it with from the tree
 Isn't he cute?
