TI Fab Fri - Go Hawks

Come check out Tiddly Inks Fab Friday
An entire post of inspiration from the Tiddly Inkers
I used Annie Cheers to maker a fun Seahawks card
my local football team and yes the reigning Super Bowl Champs..cough.
Have you ever heard "there are no mistakes in stamper"?
Well when I was coloring her, my recently refilled Copic gave me big blob of ink.....ohhhhhhhh noooooooo I said.  Then I cut out that part, printed out another and voila, certain parts are popped up. I made it work.
 Close Up
I popped up her head and pom poms
I made the inside look like the outside. I love washi tape.

It is time for a new challenge up at SugarPea Designs.
For the theme I wrapped up a go cup, hot cocoa packets and Hershey Kisses.
The finishing touch are the cute little tags.  I cut out my shapes using Layered Treat Labels Dies

Next I stamped background snowflakes on my tags using Sweet Treats and Frosty Friends
Then I stamped the dotted borders using Layered Treat Labels .

Oh Holy Night

Please scroll down for SugarPea Designs November Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop
I'm Playing in the Less Is More Challenge 197
I made a true CAS card, easy and simple for the holidays.
I used this beautiful script set from A Jillian Vance Design Oh Holy Night
I split the sentiment in half by masking it off with washi tape.  Half on the front.
And the other half of the sentiment on the inside.  I stamped the stars that come in the set around the sentiment using three colors of blue Memento ink pads. Then I finished it off with a few silver sequins.

Stamps:  Oh Holy Night (A Jillian Vance Design)  Paper:  Recollections White 110# (Michaels)  Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Memento Summer Sky, Danube Blue, Bahama Blue  Accessories: Washi Tape (JoAnns), Sequins (Pretty Pink Posh)

SPD November Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop

It’s time again for our monthly, Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop !  Now that so many of you have our 2014 Holiday Release stamp sets in your hot little hands, our Pod Squad of designers have geared up to inspire you with even MORE creative possiblites featuring the newest SugarPea Designs stamps & dies.

When I first saw the Layered Treat Labels set, I saw a light bulb.
All I had to do was cut off the end leaving a round end.

So I heat embossed my stamp image then cut out using the matching
Layered Treat Labels Dies. I stamped and cut out two labels on white cs, then one out of acetate and one circle that I stamped with Sweet Treats Christmas stamp.

I rounded the ends by tracing the circle die and cutting out.
I then held the others up to the one that is cut out and used it as a pattern.  I just layered them up with dimensionals and tiny sequins to make my Christmas Light tags.
I did the same thing but placed it on a card.
Just by layering the dies and stamps.  Easy peezy 3" mini card.
This could be used with other sentiments for a fun tag or card.

Stamps: Layered Treat Labels, Sweet Treats Labels (SugarPeaDesigns) Paper: Recollections White 110# (Michaels), Simply Chartreuse, Harvest Gold, Canyon Clay (Papertrey Ink)  Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, VersaMark  Accessories: Stampendous gold embossing powder, Anti-Static Embossing Pouch, Heat Tool, Layered Treats Labels Sugar Cuts dies (SugarPea Designs), Cuttlebug, Scotch dimensional tape Techniques: heat embossing, tags, mini card

TI Challenge - Skating By To Say Hi

A new Tiddly Inks Challenge #145 -
Remembrance or Honor is up on the Tiddly Inks Blog HERE
I made this card for a sweet friend to let her know I am thinking about her.
Colleen and I share a love for ice skating so Skater Wryn works perfectly.  I starterd her from the right like she is skating onto the card.
 Here is the Back.
I made her skating off the card for the back.
Guess how many markers I used to color her?
I used the simple Copic coloring technique and I only used 9 Copic markers.

A strip of coordinating washi tape finishes off the inside simply and easily.

Stamps:  Skater Wryn (Tiddly Inks)  Paper:  Neenah Solar White 80#, Recollections White 110# (Michael),  Ink: Printer, Copics: N4, 0, C1, C3, Y17, YR02, B00, E000, E00  Accessories: Washi Tape (JoAnns), Corner Chomper
