Hi, this month's DT DARE theme at Your Next Stamp is - Color Me Happy
I went for a literal approach LOL. I stamped this adorable flower from Let's Paw-ty all over the letters from Bold Happy Birthday Die Set. I colored them in simply with Copics, easy peasy. I made a shape card using the new Scallop Rectangles Die Set. But I went about it in a little unusual way, I had trouble cutting through two pieces of my heavy #110 cardstock base. So what I did was use an 80# base and it cut like butter then I cut two separate scallop rectangles, one for the front and one for the back. The one for the back I cut the top of slightly to be level with the card base fold. I used my "Happy" die negative to line up and pop up my "Happy" with foam tape on my card front just after I stamped "Birthday" using Spin and Twirl Carousel stamp by masking off the "Happy" in "Happy Birthday".
