To stamp or not to stamp?

New Stampin Up goody.

 My friend Toni, had a Stampin' Up party recently but I was unable to attend.

So I purchased this fun set from her virtual party.  I am not a big SU fan but I love this fun set called Just Kidding. I used the screen image from SugarPea Designs Hashtag Hipster as my background.  I just stamped the ink pads I wanted to get the ombre look. 

It is perfect for the latest CASology Challenge

I had fun using the CCC4 colors to make this wedding/Anniversary card. 

This set Hashtag Hipster is just so cute and I am loving the new Zig Zag dies.  I used SugarCuts Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles on my card base. How cool is that! 

 My card is mail friendly.

Instead of pop up stickers, I just made a hollow rectangle with cardstock and adhered to the back of my image. It sticks out 1/4" from my card base.

Picture Perfect and March's Incentive Set Hashtag Hipster.  

Hashtag Hipster

 My panel is 1 1/2 by 6 (I got 7 from an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock).

I lined up my phone image as close to the bottom as I could.  Then I stamped my silhouette rectangle in a color re-inking and stamping til I got the color I wanted.  Using post-it notes, I masked off the outside so I could stamp the inside. 

 Now to make it into the card shape.

If I had a white border at the bottom, I cut it off with my paper trimmer and scored at the top edge of my phone using my scor-pal and embossing tool. 

 I folded and burned with my bone folder. 

Then trimmed off the extra from the back of the card using my paper trimmer. 

Lastly, I used my Corner Chomper and rounded all corners using the 1/4".

These are simple and easy to whip up. Can be used as tags, notes, cards etc.
