Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday #47
Like laughter, food flinging, pillow fights, fluttering butterflies, yummy treats.........you get the idea well all this happens and more at Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday Tea Party: http://mothermark.blogspot.com/search/label/Teapot%20Tuesday%20Cards
Today, we are bird watching. My card as you can see has no birds (that you can see) so get your binoculars, pull up a chair, have some tea and I'll share my cake while we wait for the funky tropical birds that belong to these bright and colorful birdhouses. This is where my brain took me, scarey huh?!
The birdhouses are real simple. Punch (2) 1 1/4" squares. One is the bottom, the other cut in half diagonally for the roof. Then cut a 1/8 strip just longer than the width of the birdhouse for the base. I dragged the edges across a black ink pad. Then I punched a 3/8" circle and set a 3/8 eyelet. Voila. Simple simple. I have two new neighbors that this will work great for, just need to make one more and take over with cookies. Thank you for Visiting.

Oh this is so cute Lisa! I love birdhouses! I actually have quite a few but I've gotten rid of some because they were taking over! LOL! Love your fun bright take on the teapot challenge!
I love these little birdhouses, especially because you used such pretty papers. Awesome job!
Very cute!
How fun! Perfect little birdhouses with the eyelet holes!
