Celebrate Our Freedom Card

This is one of the cards I made for my Marine son and his roommates for the 4th of July to thank them for their sacrifice and my freedom.

I used a June new release called COLONIAL CARVINGS from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS: http://www.newcleardollarstamps.com/servlet/StoreFront

I found a new line at my local scrapbooking store called Just Chillin by Making Memories. I love this line and just knew I needed it to make this card and do scrapping of my sons military journey.

I love how the sewing around the embossed stars turned out.

Thank you for visiting.

DETAILS: STAMPS: Colonial Carvings (clear Dollar Stamps) PAPER: Just Chillin 6x6 Paper Pad (Making Memories), Sable (The Paper Company) INK:Stazon Jet Black, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Walnut Stain ACCESSORIES: Clear Embossing powder, Heat tool, Dimensional tape, Paper Piercer, Needle , Prism Craft Thread, Just Chillin Puffy Alpha Stickers (Making Memories), Sewing machine, Dauber
