I am excited to use this detailed new release ASTER-SEPTEMBER FLOWER OF THE MONTH from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS LLC: http://www.newcleardollarstamps.com/servlet/StoreFront
WHAT I DID: I stamped first in black, since I was coloring. I stamped the text at the top in VersaMark and used my chalks over the top with a cotton ball. I started with blue, and I accidentally put my cotton ball in green and I liked it so I did the brown too . That is how this colorful BG came to be HA HA. I topeed it with a piece of transparency film and sewed it on. That's it. I popped it up with dimensionals and I have a lovely notecard ready to be used.
Thank you for visiting me today!

Beautiful, you always do something interesting with your techniques. I like doing this one it is a lot of fun and looks great on your card! Thanks for always playing along!
Lisa, this is so pretty! I love the soft look of the text and the striking flowers. You nailed those colors!!
Very pretty, Lisa. What a beautiful background you created with the chalk. Lucky for the accidental dip in the wrong color! How cool to sew a transparency on top. I bet it looks really pretty in person It is hard to see the transparency in the picture.
Beautiful, Lisa...the flowers look fabulous and I love how you stamped the script across the top....sooo elegant!!!!
