EMBOSSING FUN

A Muse a Palooza week has begun. I picked up these two new stamps at Ben Franklin. I have never participated in the A Muse a Palooza before and decided to this year. Aren't these stamps Great! I'll have to make another one with my trees where you can see them a bit better.

This card is for two challenges. First it is for the Technique Lover's Challenge EMBOSSING ON EMBOSSING hosted by my friend and fellow CDSDT member Joan.

Second it is for today's Clean And Simple Challenge DRY EMBOSSING

So..I stamped my new BIRCH FOREST WITH LEAVES on my main panel in VersaMark then heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I sponged over the top using distressed inks. Then I ran it through my cuttlebug using CB embossing script folder and punched out a circle. I punched a larger circle from the same white paper and stamped my WIDE EYED OWL on it. I then sponged over the top with Broken China then sponged the edges with Vintage Photo and dry embossed the image just like the top. I stamped the owl again on another sheet of white cs, colored, sponged and embossed and popped up inside the circle opening.

RECIPE:
Stamps: Birch Forest With Leaves, Wide Eyed Owl (A Muse)
Paper: Wassau Exact Digital Hyper White (PaperZone), Chocolate Chip (Stampin Up)
Ink: Momento Rich Cocoa (from Clear Dollar Stamps), Tim Holtz Distress Inks Spiced Marmalade, Broken China, Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo, Bic Mark-it Markers
Accessories: Tim Holtz Blending Tool, Cuttlebug, CB Embossing Folder Script, Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Paper Piercer, Needle, DMC floss, Ruler, Dimensionals, Mouse Pad
Techniques: Hand Stitching, Emboss Resist, Dry Embossing, Sponging
