WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE #321

Hello. I played in today's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE....SWEET TREATS on SCS. I've been wanting to Paper Tole this image, WEDDING CAKE from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS, for some time. So I stamped it three times on DP. I cut out the first cake entirely, the second only the bottom two layers not including the beaded part, and then the last layer excluding the beaded part and popped up each layer with foam tape.

The sentiment...I was trying to decide if I liked it stamped in white or brown. So I stamped each on a scrap of kraft like what is on the card. When looking at the piece...I decided I liked it overlapping the edge and kept it. Funny huh?!

RECIPE:
Stamps/Images: Wedding Cake (Clear Dollar Stamps)
Cardstock/Papers:Cottonball White, Worn Parchment, Tropical Mist (Clear Dollar Stamps)
Inks/Markers:Momento Dye Ink Rich Cocoa (from Clear Dollar Stamps), Tim Holtz Distress Ink Walnut Stain, Copics R27, YG06 (from Clear Dollar Stamps)
Accents/Tools:Scallop Border Punch (SU), Paper Piercer and Piercing Mat (We R Memory Keepers), Score Tape (from Clear Dollar Stamps), Scotch Foam Tape, Tim Holtz Blending Tool, Cuttlebug, CB Borders Embossing Folder
Techniques:Dry Embossing, Distressing, Stitching, Paper Tole
