Spice UP Your Day

Today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE #139 is an inspiration challenge on this photo below:

When I saw this photo I knew I had the perfect image to use. I used SWEET AND SPICY digi from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS. I printed my image four times in the size I wanted. Then colored, cut them out and layered them (without dimensional tape). I did adhere the whole image with dimensional tape though.

I made 1/2" strips from Worn Parchment and ran them through my Cuttlebug using the Distressed Stripes Embossing Folder and sponged the edges. Then placed them how I wanted. I love how they frame the sentiment and make just the right place for my image to rest.

I put dimensional glaze on my image to finish it off.

RECIPE:
Stamps: Sweet and Spicy digital image (Clear Dollar Stamps)
Paper: Cottonball White, Worn Parchment (Clear Dollar Stamps)
Ink: Printer, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Walnut Stain, Copics YR23, E37, BG15, R29 (from Clear Dollar Stamps)
Accessories: Cuttlebug, CB Distressed Stripes Embossing Folder, Dimensional tape, Dimensional glaze, Score Tape (from Clear Dollar Stamps), Tim Holtz Embossing tool
Techniques: Distressing, Dry Embossing, Paper Tole, CAS

THANK YOU FOR VISITING. ENJOY YOUR DAY!
