Distressed Butterfly

You are looking at a distressed butterfly. He is not in distress though. Hee. I just had to play in today's Technique Lover's Challenge.

Today's Challenge is to use the WRINKLE FREE DISTRESS TECHNIQUE.

Judy said to make a background...guess I did not listen. I thought it would be fun to just do it on my little butterfly. I cut out my butterfly using my BOLD BUTTERFLIES DIE SET from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS.

Then I stamped my die cut using the BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES stamp set. Next I did the wrinkle free distress technique using Tim Holtz Distress Inks Worn Lipstick, Broken China and Dusty Concord. After that I applied clear embossing powder after stamping with a VersaMark pad and used my heating tool. I repeated this four times til I got the shine I wanted. Then I embossed it in my Cuttlebug using CB Houndstooth embossing folder. Voila.

RECIPE:
STAMPS:Beautiful Butterflies (Clear Dollar Stamps)
PAPER:Cottonball White (Clear Dollar Stamps)
INK:Memento Tuxedo Black, Tim Holtz Distress Inks Broken China, Worn Lipstick, Dusty Concord, VersaMark
ACCESSORIES:Heat Tool, Cuttlebug, CB Houndstooth embossing folder, Clear Embossing Powder, Dimensional Tape, Mister, Bold Butterflies Die Set (Clear Dollar Stamps)

THANK YOU FOR VISITING. ENJOY YOUR DAY!
