This is an idea I had in my head that I brought to life. My card is a 5 x 5 gatefold.
I made this funny knock knock card using two stamps sets from
THE ALLEY WAY STAMPS
MONSTER MASH
I embossed the monster eyes using Whisper White ink from Stampin Up and white embossing powder. Then I masked them for the inside using post-it notes.
TALK TO ME
TALK TO ME
I computer generated my sentiments that I used in the conversation bubbles on the front of my card. I printed them out then adhered a scrap of white cardstock using removeable tape and ran back through my printer to print on my cardstock. Then I stamped my conversation bubbles around my words and cut out leaving a tiny border. And adhered to my card using dimensional tape.
Here's a close up of the inside. Aren't they cute.
RECIPE:

I love it!! I've had an idea for a knock knock card, but hadn't quite figured out how to execute it! You beat me to the punch (or should I say punch line?). We love knock knock jokes in our house!
