Pencil Congrats

I am playing in today's Free For All Challenge on Splitcoaststampers
CONGRATS & CONGRADS
today's challenge is to make a Congratulations/Graduation card WITHOUT
using a cap, gown or diploma

So I used my digi
I was inspired by my friend Jenny's card in THIS blog post.

I printed five pencils off to the side directly onto my card base. Then I printed out on pencil onto a scrap piece of white cardstock. I colored it with Copics then embossed with the Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes Embossing Folder. Then I adhered it to the card. This is a flat card....snail mail friendly.

RECIPE:
STAMPS:Pencil Talk digital image (Clear Dollar Stamps)
PAPER:White Cardstock (Papertrey Ink)
INK:Printer, Copics Y17, Y21, YR23, N4, N7, N10, E31, E35, E37
ACCESSORIES:Cuttlebug, CB Distressed Stripes Embossing folder
TECHNIQUES: Dry Embossing, Coloring With Copic Markers, OLC, Digi

THANK YOU FOR VISITING. ENJOY YOUR DAY!

What a great card. Love the clean design and the clever use of pencils instead of the usual cap and diploma. To the head of class, Lisa!

Your pencil looks sooo real! Lurve how the sentiment is on the side of the pencil too!
