Tissue Collage

Today's Ways To Use It Challenge on Splitcoaststampers ...GRAB A TISSUE...to use tissue paper.  Remember making projects like this as a kid....tearing up pieces of tissue....and painting over it with glue? This is like that without the glue and instead dry embossing it.

I cut out my panel and ran my ATC gun along the outside edge and in small grid lines to cover it almost completely.  Then I tore small pieces of tissue paper and pushed it down....leaving no white space. Then I stamped my sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black then ran it through my Cuttlebug using the CB Houndstooth Embossing Folder. Simple. I'd like to try this with other color combinations.

My sentiment is from the stamp set CHATTERBOX by THE ALLEY WAY STAMPS.

RECIPE:
STAMPS:Chatterbox (The Alley Way Stamps)
PAPER:White, True Black (Papertrey Ink), Asst Tissue Paper
INK:Versafine Onyx Black
ACCESSORIES:Cuttlebug, CB Embossing Folder Houndstooth, Crystal Stickers, Spellbinders Pinking Circles Nestabilities
TECHNIQUES:Embossed Tissue Collage

THANK YOU FOR VISITING. ENJOY YOUR DAY!

You had to know that I would swoon over this card - black, white and pops of colour and in such a clever way! Except for your spelling mistake (colour, lol!), this card is perfect!
