MARCH SPRING CLEANING BLOG HOP

LEAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDY WITH YOUR COMMENT
so we can email your digi if you win.

The prize from my blog is my digi
HOME COOKIN RECIPE CARDS DIGITAL IMAGE
Includes Color White Recipe Cards

I made a little set of recipe cards.
The theme of our hop is spring cleaning. I recently went through all my craft stash and rearranged my craft area.  I rediscovered my PRISMA COLORED PENCILS.  So I colored my melons with colored pencils then embossed them for texture and adhered them to my recipe cards.
One of the recipe cards in the sets leaves room for you to add your own image.  So I added watermelons from my digi WHAT A MELON.

This digi allows you to make recipe cards the size you want
I arranged two on a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of copy paper leaving a 1/4" border all around each card on the page.  Then printed it out and cut them in half.  This is what each one looks like before you fill it out, fold in half and place in a bag to keep it clean while you are cooking.

Here's the front of the folded recipe card.

Here's the back of the folded recipe card.

Great project!! I love the idea that you can make the recipe cards any size you want! Some like index card's size...ME...I need to be able to actually see them, so 8 1/2 by 11 would be my choice!!

Wonderful idea for spring cleaning! I have just started to go through all the recipes that I have and toss out the ones that looked interesting but I've never made and so there is room for new ones! These recipe cards are so cute and I love how you coloured up the melons!

Hi Lisa. How are you sweetie? Been a while since I have been in touch. I trust everything is going well for you and your hubby. I guess your waiting for Spring as well. Lol. I think that we are all ready for some warmer weather, though it is chilly here again today with an impending snow storm arriving for Wednesday. Your cards and projects today really are warm and invitin. A true boast to get a head start on some Easter Projects/gifts for family and friends. Love your new digis that you recently shared over at CDS. Always love your work though. I am jumping up and down here in Canada over the news of your stamps being in acrylic now. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa For You! So happy to see them and hear about this wonderful news. You so deserve this sweetie. God is so good and so thrilled that He is blessing you with this opportunity. I better go and get some lunch. Just had to hop around this morning while I had a free minute or two. So glad that I did. Some amazing work here today. Hugs.
