SPD November Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop

It’s time again for our monthly, Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop !  Now that so many of you have our 2014 Holiday Release stamp sets in your hot little hands, our Pod Squad of designers have geared up to inspire you with even MORE creative possiblites featuring the newest SugarPea Designs stamps & dies.

When I first saw the Layered Treat Labels set, I saw a light bulb.
All I had to do was cut off the end leaving a round end.

So I heat embossed my stamp image then cut out using the matching
Layered Treat Labels Dies. I stamped and cut out two labels on white cs, then one out of acetate and one circle that I stamped with Sweet Treats Christmas stamp.

I rounded the ends by tracing the circle die and cutting out.
I then held the others up to the one that is cut out and used it as a pattern.  I just layered them up with dimensionals and tiny sequins to make my Christmas Light tags.
I did the same thing but placed it on a card.
Just by layering the dies and stamps.  Easy peezy 3" mini card.
This could be used with other sentiments for a fun tag or card.

I love your shaker "lightbulb" shaped tags. They are super cute and incredibly creative. When I saw the same thing on the card front, all I could hear was Gru (from Despicable Me) in my head saying, "Light Bulb!" in his Gru voice! You're so creative, Lisa!
