I cased THIS card of Lisa's.

My Differences: Sequins, Heat Embossing, Copic Coloring, Fewer Layers 

I used Bundle of Joy for the sentiment,

Welcome Baby for the onesie, SugarCuts Welcome Baby Accents Die to cut out the onesie and Hello Sunshine for the duck on the onesie.

SPDCCC01- Precious Plaid Onesie

There's a new challenge at SugarPea Designs.

 Introducing the Creative Color Challenge.

What a sweet color combo for the first challenge.  It immediately said "baby" to me.  

 

  So I channeled my inner Laura Bassen and did the plaid stamping technique

using the back of the skinny lines stamp in Read Between The Lines.  I added some faux stitching lines and cut out the onesie using SugarCuts Welcome Baby Accents die.

 I started by stamping lines using the back of the two skinny lines stamp in Read Between The Lines.

 Then I turned the paper and stamped in the opposite direction.

 I added faux stitching lines using a white gelly roll pen.



Then I cut out the onesie using SugarCuts Welcome Baby Accents Die.

 

Supplies

 The small images in this set, Welcome Baby work perfectly for these little baby shower favors.

Who knew that Rolo candy work so great for these because the favors are face up. Great for table décor. I stamped my images with VersaMark ink pad then heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  Then I used a 3/4" circle punch to punch them out.  I adhered them to the candy using a 1/16" thick square dimensional.

Besides gold accents, the chalkboard technique is still very trendy.

Just like above I stamped my images with VersaMark ink pad and heat embossed using white embossing powder and a heat gun.  The rest of the process was stated above.

 

 I made cupcake sticks using SugarCuts Welcome Baby Accents Die Set.
I cut 2 onesies for each stick, embossed the image using the same set as above and adhered a toothpick with a strip of score tape on each onesie and assembled. Easy.

 And of course in black and white to match my kisses above.
