Clear Dollar Stamps Weekend Color Challenge #26

Sweet Shawne is hosting this weekend's Clear Dollar Stamps Weekend Color Challenge at Paper Craft Planet: http://www.papercraftplanet.com/group/cleardollarstampsllcweekendcolorchallenge/forum/topics/clear-dollar-stamps-weekend-10

The colors Shawne chose for us are:

Baja Breeze, Real Red, Barely Banana and White neutral

Shawne's card is amazing. I decided to go with this wonderful new release SHELTERING LIGHTS from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS LLC: http://www.newcleardollarstamps.com/servlet/StoreFront

I stamped the lighthouse in VersaMark and then pierced holes and stitched in the challenge colors. That is all I was going to do because I thought the stitching could stand alone. But I got a smudge on it, UH OH, yes a smudge. So I put the ribbon to cover up the smudge then decided to add the sentiment in the bottom corner. I stamped too light. UH OH. Yes, so I stamped on another piece of paper and punched it out. Yes, part of this card was created from OOPS!!!!!!!!! Hee Hee.

Thanks for visiting.

I can't believe that some of this is OOPS?! This is amazing and very time consuming I would think. Wow, Lisa, great job! You really thought outside the box on this one, it's beautiful ;D

Girl, all of mine have some oops somewhere, this is subtle but so stunning! I had to do a double take when I relized what you had done with the sewing, I would love to see this in person. The smudging is one reason why I rarely work an all white card! ;) The ribbon coming right up to the image is really pretty too!

Don't you love all those little mishaps?? But it sure gives your cards character and you too. Don't worry though... your card turned out fabulous.

Hi Lisa, this card is beautiful. Having all the white really makes the color pop. I wouldn't be brave enough for this but it looks great!!
