Isn't this new release CHARLIE NATIVITY from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS just adorable!!! I had so much fun coloring it. My muse was the rich colors of old you see on the Old World nativity sets etc. I'm not sure I like the stickles I added. Undecided on that yet. Hee. You know how that goes. But I had to try it. I just loved Roxie's Sketch Challenge last Wednesday on Splitcoaststampers. I did not really like the sketch at first but once I had it all together, I loved it. Funny.
I learned a couple tips on the box (manger) that baby Charlie is in to make it look more realistic. First I cut some little triangle notches out of the sides where the panels ended. Second, I scored all the lines of the boards and bent the one on the left and IRL it looks great.
