CLEARLY INSPIRED CHALLENGE #13

Good morning. Hope it is starting off well for you. The sun is shining here. What more could you ask for? As my teenage son opened the front door to leave for school, he discovered a raccoon. He yelled at it to go away so he could get safely out the door. Hee. Scaredy cat teenager. Hee. It was heading up a tree, what did he think it was gonna turn on him, he was 8 feet away. Anyway, I got a giggle out of that one. Hee.

You are going to want to head over to to the Clear Dollar Stamps Blog and find out about the new prize for the CLEARLY INSPIRED CHALLENGE. It is now a monthly challenge. Opens the first of the month with a theme and runs til the first of the next month. Pull out your Clear Dollar Stamps if you have them, if not use what you have. Did you check out the prize yet? AN ENTIRE MONTH'S RELEASE OF STAMPS (one of each stamp being released). Wow!
So, this month's challenge is FLOWERS. It's all about the flowers. It is May after all. Hee. I used the MAY STAMP OF THE MONTH LILY OF THE VALLEY and the sentiment from PEONY from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS.

I stamped partial images of the Lily on these panels and colored them in using Copic markers from Clear Dollar Stamps that coordinate with the Spring Whispers Clearly Coordinating Cardstock and Ribbon Collection.

This card is also for today's Free For All Challenge #11 on Splitcoaststampers. Today's challenge is to use your gel pens. I use a white gel pen to dot the edges of my black mats. Also I highlighted the leaves and flowers on my panels.
This card is flat so it will mail without extra postage, definitely a plus.

RECIPE:
STAMPS:May Stamp Of The Month Lily of The Valley, Peony (Clear Dollar Stamps)
PAPER:Cottonball White, Night Eclipse, Billowing Clouds (all from Clear Dollar Stamps)
INK:Momento Tuxedo Black (from Clear Dollar Stamps), Copic Markers (all from CDS), white gel pen
ACCESSORIES:Marvy Scallop Corner punch, Spellbinders tags (from Clear Dollar Stamps), Billowing Clouds grossgrain ribbon (from Clear Dollar Stamps)

I love this card...your coloring is great...and yes indeed, it is sunny this morning...I took some pictures of my Dogwood tree and put them on my blog this morning...couldn't resist...
Can I ask....can you use your BIC markers along with your Copics--on the same image..
As I collect my Copics there are still colors I need ..can you ever have too many ???
I plan on putting a first order in soon with the Clear Dollar stamps...looking forward to using and coloring...
