Pumpkin Leaves

Hi. I am a bit under the weather with bronchitis. I am on meds and hope to recover quickly. Emphasis on the word HOPE. Gotta think positive right?! But I cannot let myself get behind. Today I am playing in the WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE #346 on Splitcoaststampers. Hannah's challenge is to use leaves.

So I pulled out JULY'S SOM LEAF HELLOS and SEASONAL SWAGS from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS.

The front oval is the card...it opens. The rest of the card is built behind it. I used spellbinders ovals to make the pumpkin. My stem I just cut free hand. The leaves are stamped, sponged with distress inks, cut out, sponged the edges, heat embossed with VersaMark and Clear Embossing powder and adhered to the card behind the front panel. I just love how the inks colored and blended to get the look of a turning fall leaf.

RECIPE:
Stamps/Images: July SOM Leaf Hellos, Seasonal Swags (Clear Dollar Stamps)
Cardstock/Papers:Cottonball White, Orange Whip, Ripe Olive (Clear Dollar Stamps)
Inks/Markers: Memento Tuxedo Black (from Clear Dollar Stamps), Tim Holtz Distress Inks Walnut Stain, Spiced Marmalade, Scattered Straw, Peeled Paint and Fired Brick, VersaMark
Accents/Tools:Ripe Olive (sheer ribbon), Spellbinders oval labels and ribbon tag trio, Cuttlebug, CB Distressed Stripes Embossing Folder, Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Score Tape (from Clear Dollar Stamps), Scotch dimensional tape, Tim Holtz blender tool
Techniques:Shape card, dry embossing, sponging

THANK YOU FOR VISITING. ENJOY YOUR DAY!
