Birthday Hugs

I wanted to try something different.
I kept this card black and white with just one pop of color. I left my outline image uncolored...just popped it up. I added french knots that I saw in PaperCrafts magazine's issue this month. Love the fun they bring to this card.

Can you tell by this fun card I'm using images from
THE ALLEY WAY STAMPS?

I used the two stamp sets below:
KITCHEN GADGETS

I used this cute kitchen scale from this set.

JIBBER JABBER

I combined two sentiments from this set. I just love the different sizes of the words that make is fun to combine them. And I love the thickness of the lines for a bold statement.

Making my french knots....I used Divine twine and a 20 size Tapestry needle. I bought a green plastic needle threader that comes in a package of many. This was heavy enough to thread the thick thread.

RECIPE:
STAMPS:Kitchen Gadgets, Jibber Jabber (The Alley Way Stamps)
PAPER:Cottonball White (Clear Dollar Stamps)
INK:Memento Rose Bud, Tuxedo Black
ACCESSORIES:Divine Twine, Tapestry Needle 20, Paper piercer, Dimensional glaze, Dimensional tape, Mini silver brad
TECHNIQUES:French Knots

THANK YOU FOR VISITING. ENJOY YOUR DAY!
