CAS(E) This Sketch #250

I took advantage of My Favorite Things' Black Friday Sale

and bought a stamp I've had my eye on.  And this week's CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #250 worked perfectly to ink it up.  I stamped BG Bundles of Blossoms Background stamp then die cut my rectangle using Your Next Stamp's Stitched Rectangle Die Set.  Keeping with the sketch I colored in just the corners.  Then finished it off with my sentiment from BB Polar Bear Pals.

Mini Bday Card

Mini Birthday Card for My Husband

 I just love this set BB Polar Bear Pals from My Favorite Things.  

I've been dieing to make a mini card, one of the benefits of matching dies . 

I made my 2 x 2 1/2" card base and cut using My Favorite Things 

BB Polar Bear Pals Die-namics 

leaving a little uncut at the top on the fold (I just put the die up so the top went above the fold a tiny bit, then it does not cut the fold).

Then I stamped my bear and his fish and then cut them out,
colored them up and adhered to the card front. (The bucket of fish I popped up with foam tape to his paw).  For the sentiment, I heat embossed it then used My Favorite Things Stitched Basic Edges 2 Die-namics (the straight one) above and below the sentiment and adhered to the mini card front with foam tape. I left him on my husband's desk for him to find this birthday morning.
