Less Is More Challenge #356 - LET IT SHINE

As I make my Christmas cards, I am playing in Challenges for inspiration. 

My inspiration for this card comes from this week's

Less Is More Challenge #356

The theme is LET IT SHINE.  I used the same paper for my Rudolph and background so the focus was more on the shine of his nose, I used a glittered enamel dot (it shines more IRL). I love all the things you can do with this paint splatter stamp.  I chose to use it to ground my image and as background for my sentiment.  I am playing with Your Next Stamp goodies and the links are below, just click on each photo.

CASology #276 - Holiday Cheer

As I make my Christmas cards I am playing in the CASology Challenge #276 - Cheer.

Boy it has been a long time since I've played in a challenge.  It is taking a little load of to have a spark of inspiration to work with.

I was inspired by the CASology challenge 276 theme CHEER to make a Christmas card spreading holiday cheer.
I used my MISTI and three inks to create my ombre candy cane background.  Just heat embossed my sentiment and popped it up on my card then colored up my penguin simply, popped him up and cut off the excess.  Fun, easy card for Christmas.

It's time for this month's DT DARE - Be Merry!

I made a set of easy to mass produce Christmas cards thanks to my MISTI.  All I had to do was swap out the ornament so I could showcase all three!  I learned the hard way to stamp the sentiment and the ornament in one step then heat embossing it all together.  Can't you just imagine them in gold and silver?!
