I made a shaker!

I don't make shaker's much, but these goodies just screamed shaker card!  I used the Happy Camper Paper Pad showcased Monday, die-cut the center using SugarCut - Zig Zag Stitched Circles and the edge using SugarCut - Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles. Then this sentiment from today's set Perfect Blend just fit perfectly in the center.

I just had to pull out this cutie patootie image What's Mew from when SugarPea Designs was in its first year, I believe. I was taking a card making break at the time, because I was burnt out.  SugarPea Designs got me out of my slump with my first glance at their new images and it has been love ever since. 

About my card,

I die cut my SugarCut - Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles die using the second from the largest from white cardstock.  I then sponged on Distress Oxide Broken China then spritzed with water and dabbed with a paper towel, repeating spritzing and dabbing til I got the look I want.  I adhered two more rectangles under it and adhered to my card front.  Next, I stamped this sweet image from What's Mew.  I colored it up and cut it out with scissors.  I stamped my sentiment masking off "Day" from Have a Purrfect Day" sentiment then stamped "Birthday" next to it after I masked off "Wishes" from "Birthday Wishes" sentiment using Happy Mail.  I used Glossy Accents on the window, let it dry then popped it up on my card front and accented with washi tape and sequins.

SPD March 2017 Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop

Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop Time SugarPea Fans

Now that you SugarPea Lovers have the February Release

in your hot little hands it is time for an inspirational hop from the Design Team. 

I am having a little popcorn fun with this easy peasy CAS card I made for this hop.

I used the SugarCut - Popcorn Treat Box to cut half of one side and cut off the flaps.  I lined it up at the top of my card like it is pouring out onto the card and cut off the excess.  I also used the die to cut out the Pop Corn words three times, layer them and adhere them to the box front.  Then I cut out the popcorn with the same die. I stamped my sentiment using What's Poppin'? then popped up my box and popcorn for a little dimension.

CASology #220 w/Rosi - Coffee Junkie

Rosi and I are at it again playing in this week's

CASology Challenge #220 COFFEE. You gotta see what Rosi created HERE. 

I had a fun time inking up these two stamp sets for this challenge.  I drew my 3 1/4" square lightly in pencil first.  Then I used painters tape to mask along the bottom of the square. I used my MISTI to stmap my go cup first, masked it off then stamped the bird.  I stamped the bird again on scrap paper and cut out just his wings and popped them up after coloring. Then I went over my pencil lines with marker.

SPOOKY Halloween

Yep, I just had to ink up this cute digi again.

Skelekinz - Wings is free through Thursday at Bugaboo Stamps. I printed her out, colored her up, cut her out and cut off her head. LOL.  The fun sentiment is from Fang Tastic by SugarPea Designs.  This card is for the CAS399 SPOOK at Splitcoaststampers.

SPD Sneak Peek Week - Day TWO

Welcome to SugarPea Designs Sneak Peek Week - Day TWO

I just love seeing how all of the Design Team is inspired individually by the new release.  And there are some beauties in store for you with today's show cased goodies. I especially love the new scape die. Lots of possibilities.  The entire release will be available this Friday, October 14th at 6pm EST!

First Card

I made a 4 1/4" square card using the SugarCut - NativityScape.  I first made my card base then took a 4 1/4" square panel and cut out the scene part way down the panel.  I heat embossed the sentiment from Come Let Us Adore Him in white to keep the soft monochromatic scheme.  I used gold washi on the bottom of the card front and let it show through when I popped up my front panel. 

Second Card

I made a 5" square card.  I cut a 4 1/2" square piece of Kraft and cut the top for my manger.  Then I stamped the lamb and baby Jesus image on it using Come Let Us Adore Him and cut out the scene using SugarCut - Come Let Us Adore Him. I dry embossed with the die for dimension around the window.  I then used my MISTI to stamp my image inside the window of the kraft panel to my card base.  I colored up the image then heat embossed my sentiment under the window and popped up with the colored images showing through.
