CANDY CANE CHRISTMAS
I used this yummy new release CANDY CANE POEM from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS.
For my back panel I made pleats with my dp and stitched over the top with jute string. I then printed out my candy cane, colored it, cut it out and popped it up over my panel. Then made a bow and adhered to the candy cane. It needed a sentiment so I printed it out and cut into pieces. Then popped up every other piece for dimension.
RECIPE:Stamps/Images: Candy Cane Poem Digital Image (Clear Dollar Stamps)

HAPPY FALL SPOTLIGHT
I used this wonderful new digi AUTUMN BLESSINGS from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS.
I knew I wanted to use this digi with these colors. So, I decided to use the spotlight technique. The Copics don't seem to blend as well for me on the Watercolor paper but they look better than my try with Tombo markers. I need more practice with my watercolors.
STAMPS:Autumn Blessings Digital Image (Clear Dollar Stamps)
PAPER: Silk Watercolor Paper, Worn Parchment (Clear Dollar Stamps)
INK:Printer
MARKERS:Copics: R27, R29, R59, YR02, YR07, Y17, E29, E57 (from Clear Dollar Stamps)

SIMPLY JESUS IS THE REASON
Today I played in the Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper Challenge. Congratulations to Kristen aka eberlinek. If you have not had the priviledge of checking out her gallery you should. Very inspiring.
I cased THIS card of Kristen's.
Changes I made:
omitted ribbon and photo corner
put brads on image
stamped bg
Stitched middle panel
I used the new releases JESUS IS THE REASON and BLOOMING BACKGROUND from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS.
I was trying to keep this Simple. The coloring is just simple Copic coloring. No shading. Besides being time consuming with the coloring...it is an easy card. I already used red on my flowers on another card so I wanted to use pink this time.
STAMPS:Jesus Is The Reason, Blooming Background (Clear Dollar Stamps)
PAPER:Cottonball White , Night Eclipse (from Clear Dollar Stamps)
INK:Momento Tuxedo Black (from Clear Dollar Stamps)
MARKERS:Copic R20 (from Clear Dollar Stamps)
ACCESSORIES:Micro Brads (Recollections), Dimensionals, DMC floss, Needle, Paper Piercer, Mouse Pad
TECHNIQUES:Stitching

WHOOO LOVES YOU?
I made this card for today's Free For All IT'S A PUNNY SITUATION CHALLENGE.
I could not resist using these googly eyes on this owl with this punny challenge. For my fence, I just cut my pieces 1" wide and used my tag corner punch then ran them through my cuttlebug using the CB distressed stripes embossing folder and then distressed the edges. I popped up the fence panels and the owl. This is for my deployed son.
RECIPE:
STAMPS:Whooo Loves You Sept SOM (Clear Dollar Stamps)
PAPER:Cottonball White, Worn Parchment (from Clear Dollar Stamps)
INK:Momento Tuxedo Black (from Clear Dollar Stamps), Tim Holtz Distress Ink Walnut Stain
MARKERS:Copics YR07, BG05, B05, B00

SMILING PUMPKINS
It is time for One Layer Wednesday on Susan (LateBlossom)'s blog. If you have never played...you should check it out. I just love the challenge to make a one layer card. Susan's cards are always so inspiring. I enjoy seeing all the participants' creations.
This Wednesday's challenge three images one sentiment.
I stamped my three pumpkins (an stamp I received from my sweet friend Tiffani, the brand is unknown) and colored them in simply with copics. The sentiment I stamped once in black then moved my image slightly to the right and immediately stamped again for a shadow effect. It is really cool. I don't do that often enough. Fun. Susan says to just have fun and I did.
I decided to draw a line to ground my images and sentiment. I like the way the line looks behind the letters. Then I decided to utilize the white space and add score lines to make a fence in the background. I cut little notches out of the top to make it look like a fence. This was fun.

Second, I am bringing flowers and my flutterby to Mothermark's 110 Teapot Tuesday Teaparty. I popped up part of my flutterby and one of the flowers.
Third, I finally was able to play in PriscillaStyles Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. I've been meaning to for awhile now and I finally did it.
