Friends Warm The Heart

Isn't this guy cute!
I just could not resist playing in a few challenges today with him.
I had such a wonderful birthday yesterday!
I am so thankful to all my friends and family that made it special with, lunch, dinner, cupcakes, facebook birthday wishes, flowers, cards, visits and phone calls.
Now to my card.
I used two of my favorite sets from A Jillian Vance Design, In The Meadow and Frosty.  Congratulations today to Sarah Hoogendoorn aka shoogendoorn, today's Featured Stamper #409 at Splitcoaststampers. I cased Sarah's Snow Much Fun .

My Changes:
White card base no borders
Stamped Snowflakes
Stamped Sentiment at bottom
Popped up my snowman

I am also playing in the last Catered Crop Challenge (sniff sniff)
I love snowmen so I went with a CAS snowman scene, and I picked a cute one!

Pink CAS Christmas

I have one card for three challenges today.
First challenge I am playing in is this week's
For my CAS card today I just used good old stamping.  Surprise. I combined three stamp sets to make my Christmas tree.  I made my tree using the Spare Me set from SugarPea Designs.  I used the front and back of the silhouette arrow  and the silhouette design for the top.  I Made the tree trunk using a dotted line stamp from Stripes 202 and stamped it in between the sentiment from In The Meadow, both from A Jillian Vance Design.

The second challenge I am playing in is the Jingle Belles Pink Christmas Challenge
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, they will donate $4 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for every holiday card with a noteable amount of pink on it submitted. Isn't that Awesome?!

The Third Challenge is Addicted to CAS: Code Word Vellum
I used vellum as a mat behind my white panel.  I love to do this with vellum.

In my close up
you can see the two pinks I used to make the tree by using the front and back of the stamp
The Inside
I tied it into the front and just added a few sequins to spice it up a little
