I used this week's colors and created a simple note. 

I stamped the brush strokes in Memento's New Sprout and Distress Ink Shaded Lilac.  I just love this stamp set Watercolor Brush Strokes from SugarPea Designs.  I layered three White "Hello"s using SugarPea Designs' SugarCut - Chatterbox Journal Card. This is an easy whip up card! And I am so thankful for my MISTI with this kind of stamping.

CASology #231 - Oh What Fun!

I am playing in this week's

CASology Challenge Week #231

This week's cue word is FOREST

And I am playing with my dear friend Rosemary Dennis (Rosi).  You check out what she came up with for this challenge HERE. I first used Elle's Studio Tis The Season stamp set to stamp a line of rainbow evergreen trees along the bottom of a card panel working from left to right with my MISTI.  

 I then die cut my trees at an angle using 

SugarPea Designs SugarCut - Birthday Journal Card 

using the stitched rectangle then another using the scallop rectangle. 

 Next, I stamped my sentiments using 

Elle's Studio Tis The Season and Neat & Tangled's Say Yes To Donuts.

I adhered my panels and finshed off with 

Pretty Pink Posh's Clear Sequin Mix .

You're Hot Circle Note

Circle Note

Ever leave a note in your loved one's lunch?

This is a little circle note I made to put in my hubby's lunch just because.  I am playing with the brand new released Whatever The Weather for the sunshine and one of my very first SPD stamps Pizza My Heart for the sentiment. 

Details

I used the back of the sunshine stamp first in yellow using my MISTI. First time using my MISTI. I love love it.  I stamped twice to get nice rich coverage. Then I used the image side in orange, again stamping twice for nice coverage.  Love this sentiment, nice and bold, works great right on top of my image.  For the card base, I folded my card, and lined up the circle die just over the fold a little so it will open and close.  Then cut out a full circle of same size and turned it over and embossed it in my Cuttlebug for a little more definition.

New Stampin Up goody.

 My friend Toni, had a Stampin' Up party recently but I was unable to attend.

So I purchased this fun set from her virtual party.  I am not a big SU fan but I love this fun set called Just Kidding. I used the screen image from SugarPea Designs Hashtag Hipster as my background.  I just stamped the ink pads I wanted to get the ombre look.

Wee Little Note

Playing with Hamlet

I am playing with this adorable digi Hamlet PigWit Being Shy by From The Heart Stamps. 

I just love pigs.  This guy is such a cutie.   I also used a set from SugarPea Designs, Noted.  I have been enjoying using this set lately.  I printed out Hamlet and the sentiment then stamped the paper lines over him.  I wanted it to look like he was drawn and colored on notebook paper.

 I was inspired to pull out my SugarPea Designs Stamps and these are what I created. 

I used SugarCuts Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles and Watercolor Brush Strokes to create the basic card.  Then I just did something different with each one. It was fun and I have a bright, happy stash.
