You're Hot Circle Note

Circle Note
Ever leave a note in your loved one's lunch?
This is a little circle note I made to put in my hubby's lunch just because.  I am playing with the brand new released Whatever The Weather for the sunshine and one of my very first SPD stamps Pizza My Heart for the sentiment.

Details
I used the back of the sunshine stamp first in yellow using my MISTI. First time using my MISTI. I love love it.  I stamped twice to get nice rich coverage. Then I used the image side in orange, again stamping twice for nice coverage.  Love this sentiment, nice and bold, works great right on top of my image.  For the card base, I folded my card, and lined up the circle die just over the fold a little so it will open and close.  Then cut out a full circle of same size and turned it over and embossed it in my Cuttlebug for a little more definition.

I am playing in this week's

SPD - August ProjectPea Blog Hop

Welcome to SugarPea Designs' August ProjectPea Blog Hop
Each month we challenge our fabulous team of ProjectPea Designers to create FUN & CREATIVE projects that are sure to make you look at your stamp sets with brand new eyes!

I made these super fun Lego match boxes using the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board (if you don't have one, it is a must have, I bought mine at Michaels) The only change I made to my boxes is I made the width of my lid 3" instead of 2 7/8. I used four different SPD stamp sets to make my tags. I filled them with Starburst Tropical by dividing up the colors.  I put 12 in each but will fit 16.
What kid could resist this lego box of goodies?
My sentiment is from the SPD set Totes Ma Goats
Can't you see this one for Valentines Day?
This fun sentiment is from the SPD set Pizza My Heart

How about cheering someone up with this little box of sunshine?
I used the sentiment from this sweet SPD set Hello, Sunshine

What is more endearing than a pink Birthday Lego?
This beautiful font sentiment comes from the SPD set Seaside Wishes

I AM AN SPD PROJECT PEA - WHOOT WHOOT

I have some JUMP UP AND DOWN news today............wait for it...............
Today on the SugarPea Designs blog Wendy is announcing new Design Team members called
PROJECT PEAS and I am so happy to be one of them! Whoo Hoo!
Be sure to visit the SPD blog for a chance to win a $15 SPD  GC!
So here is  my introductory project.
When I first saw this stamp set this is what I envisioned.
This cute guy on a pack of gum blowing a bubble.  When I chose this gum, I noticed the flame and LIGHTBULB!
I colored him up then cut his head to have two separate pieces (sorry dragon).
Then I placed it at the
angle I wanted with pop up dots.  And made my sentiment banner and popped up also.
This is a great party favor idea for a kids birthday party etc which is why I colored him simply to show he can look good and you can make them up rather quickly.  I embossed him too for some texture.  I gave mine to my husband just because.
I used two SPD stamp sets
Now, hop on over to the SugarPea Designs Blog to meet more Project Peas and for a chance to win a $15 SPD GC!
